The application layer gets attention first, but the durable leverage usually sits underneath it. If the foundation is weak, everything above it struggles.

Developers are also distribution nodes. If builders like a tool, it spreads through teams faster than most marketing campaigns can force.

I invest in teams I would want to work with. Good market, good taste, fast learning loops, and the ability to keep going when the first version is wrong.
